What brought you to Isotrol?
I’ve been in the renewable energy business for 20 years and have been involved with designing deposition systems for new types of photovoltaics, large scale solar project designs, and selling advanced control systems. I left my former position at a US-only SCADA company and wanted to expand into the International market and, most importantly, service the latest frenzy for asset owners to get into the energy trading markets in the US. When I met the Isotrol team at the Re-Plus convention in Sept 2024, they discussed international business in energy trading platforms, EMS controls, Control Center software and advanced APM. I see these elements of the next generation SCADA sales market. I applied for a position in Sales at Isotrol and was warmly welcomed into the team.
What will be the key drivers of the U.S. renewable market in 2025?
Overall US market key drivers are:

- The use of AI with APM systems will help owners better manage their power plants (whether solar, battery, wind, hydro or nuclear).
- The insatiable appetite of AI systems at Microsoft and others will demand more consistent, larger, and smarter sources of energy and an expanding base of new projects.
- Grid reliability and enhancements to support this growth will be another market opportunity.
Key drivers at Isotrol to meet these drivers and services this tremendous growing market opportunities lies with:
-To have customers around the world.
-A successful energy trading platform in Europe ready to migrate to the American market.
-We are studying applying AI to our APM.
-An EMS solution with great potential in the US market.
